I have some Divx files and wanted to convert them back to mpeg so that I can watch them on my stand alone DVD palyer. I have tried to follow some instructions I found after doing a search but with some of the files this doesn´t seem to work: I can´t demus them neither with PVAs nor with Project X. Tmpgenc doesn´t like the format of some of them, with others it crashes. (Even when extracting the wav. audio before with VirtualDub. DVDx doesn´t recognise the format either and since PVAs doesn´t work neiter will DVD2SVCD. The only program with which it has worked for me is NERO (it reencodes the files but with very limited features and quality, and if the original Divx files are in NTSC then I get the "long heads" when playing it back on my DVD palyer!
