DVBViewer prevents shutdown

Hello,

 

I have tried to solve this problem, without success, as follows:

 

When pressing the shutdown button on the PC, it does not shutdown the computer. This only happens when DVBViewer is in use. When making a recording, the application shuts down the PC on completion (as reqd).

 

I have been through the options for the program and cannot find any reason why it inhibits the shutdown switch.

 

Any ideas please?
