Recording Service Favourites

Hi

 

I've just installed the latest version of the recording service and enabled the web interface. I can't seem to get it to just show my favourites on the Programs Overview page (I use the mobile version).

 

I've been into the service.xml file and tried adding UseFav 1 to the WebGeneral section and also tried creating an Input section like in the DVBViewer config itself but it doesn't work - ie: it still shows all available TV & Radio channels.

 

If I turn off the recording service and use the regular HHTPServer.exe, with UseFav=1 in the .ini file, then it works. However I would really like to use the recording service for everything then I can log the workstation off etc.

 

Any ideas?

The Recording Service did not support Favorites in the current version as far as i know.

I see. Is it possible to use Apache web server to run the web interface for DVBViewer?

Web Interface 1.5 is a little web server on its own. You can not use it in Apache.

 

But there is other solution DVBViewer Interface mit PHP.

Interesting. So that's a different interface, PHP based. It doesn't look like it has a mobile version.

 

I think I'll stick with the recording service and hopefully it will be updated to include favourites at some point. I can't imagine it'd be a big job but then I don't know how or who develops it.

Why is it not possible to show only the favourite channels in the web interface ?

I saw the option was even removed in the configuration window of the recording-service in one of the last beta versions.

It would be much easier, if I now search on eurosport, I get too many eursport's, the same for tv-guide ...

When will it be enabled again ?
