Recording everything in a favourites group for TV on demand.

The fact that with my one satellite and one terrestrial tuner I can record every main UK FTV channel bar Film4 at the same time (as they are split between just two frequencies) got me wondering; how difficult would it be to set up a system so that DVBViewer automatically recorded everything in a favourites group for a chosen period of time each day, and then allowed you to scroll through the timeline for those channels and start watching any programme whenever you liked? (apart from those in the future, obviously!). It could then automatically wipe everything you hadn't specifically asked to be kept before it starts the following days recordings.

 

I guess there would only be demand for this if other countries' main channels were as favourably organised on the digital platforms as the UK's are, but, theoretically, would it be that hard to do?
