kim.bjoern
Hi DVBViewers, I just got IPTV from a danish provider, and wanted to try out possibilities to view channels on the PC directly from the ethernet interface. I been playing around today, with mixed results... I've managed to scan the IP and ports for a (surprising high) number of channels with wireshark, I can scan and preview the channels in the "old" IPTVTransEdit application, and a number of other applications just by entering the streaming URL (i.e 10.10.10.10:5500). No problem. But! I can't seem to seamlessly use these data in my newly purchased DVBViewer Pro 4.0. Actually, I don't seem to have the Hardware (the NIC?)!? How can / where do I add the NIC info? Which simple "howto" is it I haven't found yet?? Please give me a hint?! Best regards - Kim, Denmark Quote Link to comment
Tjod
Open the usermode.ini in the DVBViewer Folder and change IPTV=0 to IPTV=1. And than scan for new devices (Options > Hardware) and change the Status from the IPTV Device to Normal. Quote Link to comment

Great! Got the first channel! The rest must be playing around. Thanks a lot for helping out. Best - Kim Quote Link to comment
