kobe8
Hi all! Dish movement does not work properly for my skystar hd2/motsat3: sometimes the dish moves on channel change and sometimes not. Probably this is not a new bug, but I don´t know if it has been considered for future dvb versions. In my opinion, this is the unique big problem for this application. Anyway, if I unselect and then select again the "shared lnb" in the hardware options menu and press Apply button, the dish works fine (and faster) always. My Options/Hardware configuration. Marked: Shared LNB has CI module Open whole transponder is dvb-s2 device retune on missing stream after 10 sec. I would like to thank you your work. DVBViewer is probably the best dvb program I´ve ever seen and the best solution for our HTPC´s. Thanks and regards, Sergio. Quote Link to comment
Griga
Please read this: http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=31406 Shared LNB Do you know what this option does? It's only suitable for *two* DVB-S devices that are both connected to a two-way-splitter, and the splitter to a single LNB resp. antenna cable. Anyway, if I unselect and then select again the "shared lnb" in the hardware options menu and press Apply button, the dish works fine (and faster) always. Which means, the device is re-initialized. Any other hardware option would have the same effect. Quote Link to comment

The only way (at least for me) to accurate always the correct dish movement on channel change involves to initalize the hardware options. Maybe drivers? I´m using the original skystar hd2 cd drivers and technisat web contains a newer version. I´m frightened about this option because DVBViewer works ok but the dish problem. Thanks and regards, Sergio. So again: http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?...st&p=228725 I don't post links just for fun. If you don't read what's written there you won't make it work. Quote Link to comment
