Can SDK/COM be used for own window/frame?

For some reason the help files that come with the SDK all seem to contain no (blank) content on my machine, so I can't find the answer to this question...

 

Is it possible to use the SDK/COM interface to have a DVBViewer form/window within my own application? Or is the intention of it only to be able to control an existing instance of the DVBViewer application?
