PiotrJakub
The feature I would really like to have is that the OSD info does not dissapear during channel switching. Sometimes the switch takes a few seconds (when switching transponders or devices) and I would be able to read the EPG info on the show I am switching to... instead I have to watch a blank screen. If anything goes wrong with the switching or I accidentally choose a protected (scrambled) channel the screen stays black and I dont get any further feedback when pressing buttons on the remote. So please leave the OSD on channel switching and when there is no video stream. Edited February 22, 2009 by PiotrJakub Quote Link to comment
hdv
Hello, i think, if you use the Video Renderer Overlay (Options -> DirectX) you have what you want. The problem is, that the VMR or EVR Renderer need an running video graph to present the OSD, because, the video is mixed into the video. But if the channelswitch take some time or a scrambled channel is selected, that ist not given. Overlay is drop the OSD over the video and is not dependent on a running video graph.
