Problems with dvbviewer actions

Hi

I am using DVBViewer in my htpc in such a manner that it is running practically all the time and the recording service or task scheduler are not used at all.

In IR server suite I use the run program function and the -x action codes to control DVBViewer. This works otherwise fine, but no matter what I do I cannot make DVBViewer come up from the minimized state in the background and tune up the last used channel.

I'm thinking this has probably nothing to do with with ir server site. I think DVBViewer just for some reason doesn't respond to all the -x commands given by the script (currently these commands: restore window(16397),fullscreen(5) and tune last channel(63). The first command works every time but the rest some times have no effect. Some times though it works perfectly.

So now the question is can I somehow give DVBViewer several actions in a single run command? Or can I perhaps run a set of actions created in the DVBViewer options|input from the command line with some action code? Or do you maybe have any better ideas of how to control DVBViewer via IR server suite.

The long story in short. How can one reliably bring DVBViewer from a minimized to tray state to foreground and fullscreen with an external program?

HTPC Software used:

Vista ultimate 32bit

IR Server suite 1.4.2

DVBViewer 4.0

Media Portal (the reason for ir server suite)

HW specs:

Intel E6600

2GB Ram

Geforce 8800gts 512MB

2xTechnotrend TT-1501C

This has already been addressed in the forum.Try to search a bit more. You may be interested by DVBViewer Switcher. The thread is in German but if you download the zip there's a nice pdf in English. I also tried to use IR Suite but I gave up because it was not working reliably at the time (but that was some months ago) and now I'm using LM remote that works very well.
