uglyned
Hi, It seems to me that Windows is a bit dumb. When I put my system into standby the system time gets messed up by the Windows time service which tries to synchronise while the machine is in standby, fails and ends up setting the wrong time - probably US time but I'm not sure - about 8 hours behind what it should be anyway. I've now disabled the Windows time service and I hope my standby problems will clear up (lots of recordings missed because the time goes wrong). I wondered if something could be built into the recording service to synchronise the system time using the time from the satellite? It would just mean that my system time stayed accurate as I don't want to enable the Windows time service again. I have a batch file which does this so it's not a big deal - just a suggestion! Lars_MQ
I use this little helper with a process timer and it works perfectly for me. Quote Link to comment
