Can scan additional sats, but can't watch them

Hi,

I'm setting up DVBViewer and I am trying to watch 28.2, 19.2 and 13.0 (all E). I know everything is setup up properly with the switch at the antenna, as I can view all of the sats fine with my STB.

I am able to view channels on 28.2 with no problem. I can scan 19.2 and 13.0 and it finds channels (I'm only interested in the freeview), but when I try to view a channel, nothing is displayed... only a black screen. I've tried putting all the sats in the same group and I've tried putting each one in a separate group. Neither works.

I've not found anything in the manual, and I'm sure there is something out there, but every google search I've tried turns up nothing.

If it helps, I'm running a 3GHz Core2Duo, Nvidia 8600 (512MB Memory) with 32 bit Windows 7 and 4 GB memory. Am using the Technisat Skystar HD2 card and a 1m dish.

Thanks much for your help!

Thanks for the quick response. I believe the diseqc is setup correct. 28.2 (connection 1) is on A/A, 13.0 (connection 2) is on B/A and 19.2 (connection 4) is on B/B. Here is the support.zip file.

What about transedit? Does it perform a correct scan on all positions? If yes, try the DVBViewer with the exported channels from transedit. If it doesn't work properly , you could try the latest beta version.

I just deleted all the channels and did a scan. First 28.2 and I stopped it after 50 channels or so found. Then I scanned 19.2 and stopped it after 39 channels. Strange thing is that the scan on 19.2 is finding the channels on 28.2 (BBC, ITV, etc.). For the 28.2 scan I had diseqc set to A/A and for 19.2 I had it set to B/B.

It looks like transedit concurs. The switch works fine with the STB. Perhaps the card isn't delivering sufficient power to the switch or something similar. I do have the additional power connector connected to the card. I'll have to do some checking there. Thanks again for the quick help!!
