robbo1
Last night I tried to play back a .mkv I had generated using MakeMKV from one of my DVDs. Usually I set it to save the DD soundtrack, but for a change I tried the DTS soundtrack. It played fine, but when I tried to rewind by 10 secs to catch something I missed, the PC stopped responding and had loads of HDD activity. I eventually managed to quit DVBViewer and tried again, only to have the same problem. I re-ripped the same DVD using the DD soundtrack and it was fine. Can anyone give me any tips? Also, when I play the same DVD directly from the DVD Disk Drive (not from the .mkv file) using DVBViewer, it automatically plays in DD not DTS, how can I set it to default to the supposedly better DTS? I am using AC3Filter for AC3 streams and it is set to pass through in the same format in float PCM. Thanks all Robbo1 Quote Link to comment
