RiSaMa
Good morning...: I bought last week DVBViewer but I can not properly record programs in high definition. Always, when I finish recording something with software created and analyzed the transportstream always "discontinuity." These are the things that I have: * A very good computer: i7, 6Gb, Seagate and Western Digital disks, 9800gtx ... * Operating system Windows 7 (x64), although I tried all: xp, xp sp2, XP SP3, Vista, .... * Hauppauge 4000 * All drivers updated! * I have tested thousands of codecs: coreavc, nvidia npure, Elecard, (all of hdpack ),.... * Signal Quality 92% (astra) I have also tested the VideoRec.dll, I said that there was no error, but then if you look at the MeGui, tells me that there are discontinuities ... These discontinuities, as encode the video in mkv audio lags me and many problems ... eac3to v3.16command line: "C:\Program Files (x86)\megui\tools\eac3to\eac3to.exe" "D:\Grabaciones\prueba.ts" 1:"D:\Grabaciones\T1_Video - .mkv" 2:"D:\Grabaciones\T2_Audio - Spanish.ac3" -progressnumbers ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TS, 1 video track, 1 audio track, 0:06:01, 50i 1: h264/AVC, 1080i50 (16:9) 2: AC3, Spanish, 5.1 channels, 384kbps, 48khz, dialnorm: -27dB, -1421ms [v01] The video track contains the (probably incorrect) "full range" flag. <WARNING> [v01] Extracting video track number 1... RiSaMa
Well ... can anyone help me? I purchased this program to record high definition and I can not ... if these problems ... Please I need help! Thank you very much Quote Link to comment
Gioxy
...don't be fooled by 92% quality, but check instead if there are also reception discontinuity in "View / Filters / DVB Source"... You can see it "live" and/or set "Write log file" and "Write extended log file" in "Setting / Options / Recordings" to know the recording "quality" (perhaps better to read it... continuity) before you process it... If they are, you have to double (or triple) check your dish, cable, DiSEqC, connection and whatsoever there are between your Hauppauge 4000 and the sat... I'm quite sure you already know that a bad wheather can blind your sat reception... some sat card (for example the good old SkyStar 2) are also "disturbed" by DECT phones if too near... BTW: Windows 7 isn't (at least ATM) a good/strong HTPC choice: if you can, rebuild you PC with XP Sp3... Quote Link to comment

In the log record does not exist error ... The Hauppauge 4000 works well. Sure the antenna is OK. I have no device that can interfere ... I tried many times on xp and I will not change again (as they would lose the 6Gb of RAM). I remain the same ... Sometimes shooting well (minimum) and others do not ... I recommend! What can I do ¿?!!! THANKS! Quote Link to comment

(for this, you must know the corrects pids , look at channel edit menus) Quote Link to comment

RiSaMa
Yes, yes and disable C1E and still the same problem .... Please I need help! Someone can tell me where the problem can come .... Thank you very much! Quote Link to comment
Gioxy
Too many thing to guess... But as your DVBViewer logs state that there were errors AFAIK they most likely be signal or maybe CI related... BTW, have you already tried to use Recording Service or to record with A/V disabled? Another hint is to try to check "Conifuración / Opciones / Avanzado / Usar solo la primera CPU" and in the same page "Prioridad = Normal"... Quote Link to comment
RiSaMa
If you've tried it with A / V off, with the same result (failure). In this section of the configuration I tested with normal priority, high. And with many cores .... The HD channels are not the records without any kind of error, so I do not think that problem is not IQ or signal .... also fail because the SD channels ... Any ideas ....? ¡¡I'm desperate! THANK YOU Quote Link to comment
RiSaMa
I must say that I'm wrong on the last post. Programs in SD also gives the same errors! Any idea ¿?.... think that it can be .... Quote Link to comment
