daveuk Posted June 7, 2009 Share Posted June 7, 2009 (edited) I've fiddled for hours trying to get the netstreaming plugin to work and now I'm pulling my hair out. Basically I want to watch my Hauppage DVB-S on another PC via the netstreaming plugin. I've enable it and here are my settings :- Streaming Type : Unicast Max Users : 1 Interface : 0.0.0.0 Port : 2345 Buffercount : 100 I've tried VLC and DVBViewer on the other PC, I've tried changing the settings to all available and even tried multicast and switching the firewalls on both pc's off. I'm using remote desktop to set the thing up between the PC's but cannot get a stream started. The ip's of the 2 pcs involved are 192.168.1.4 (server) and 192.168.1.2 (client) Any help would be muich appreciated, or even a link to a guide (very strange I cannot find one) Edited June 7, 2009 by daveuk Quote Link to comment
Tjod Posted June 7, 2009 Share Posted June 7, 2009 If you use the NetStream Plugin you should use VLC as client (DVBViewer is not possible as client for the NetStream Plugin). Try http://192.168.1.4:2345 as source in VLC. Quote Link to comment
