patsystem
Hi to all, (sorry for my bad English!!) I have some problems with my home self-made system and I am a newbie here!!! MY HARDWARE: - XPC Barebone CREATIVE SLIX MPC51C1 (intel 845GE) * Intel P4 Northwood 2Ghz (20x100) * 1GB DDR PC2100 (2x512MB) * LG HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA 4160B - Receiver Technisat Skystar 2 PCI - Driver 4.4.3 patched to received Astra/Hotbird - Ati All In Wonder 7200 DDR 32MB AGP 4X (real old AIW!!!!) - Audio SB Live! 24-Bit External USB 2.0 - Remote control: ATI Remote Wonder I (USB) - Creative 5.1 Inspire-5300 - REALLY OLD Analog CRT TV from DAEWOO 25" with Antenna connector and 2 SCART. The PC is connected using S-Video out (yellow cable) to 1 SCART SOFTWARE: - Windows XP Pro Sp3 (IE7 and all other update from Windows) - Office 2003 Pro SP3 - Nero 8.0 - Alchool 120% - Antivirus Avast 4.8 - DVBViewer PRO 4.1.1.1 - Ati driver: Catalyst 6.11 (driver: 8.252.0.0) - Ati Multimedia Center: 9.14 (Only TV component installed) CODEC INSTALLED EXTRA: - Dscaler 5008 (the only way to view something) - Cyberlink video /SP Filter 5.0.0724 - Elecard MPEG2 Video Decoder 2.00.0.2313 - Intervideo Decoder 5.3.5.20 With this kind of configuration I have mainly one problem watching satellite TV (for example: ZDF,VOX, Kika etc) using DVBViewer PRO: annoying delay in moving scenes and it create a sort of "wake" with it previous one. For example when un watch a man running, your eyes notice a "wake" behind him. I would like to understand this problem and resolve it. Other information: - This problem is not notable during Divx or DVD playback - Ati catalyst automatic synchro TV output to 800x600 60Hz - The problem of "wake" appears using a normal CRT at 100hz or on LCD - For testing purpose I have installed the Omega drivers for this ATI but I have problems in DVBViewer using fullscreen mode - Since this last version I have a great usage of CPU using DVBViewer (from 65% to 80% CPU usage) Could be a problem of: - Wrong codec - Obsolete VGA Adapter (I have planed to buy a ATI Aiw 9800 PRO Club 3D) - Defective Sat received (SS2 PCI by technisat) - Wrong setting of DVBViewer Please help me Patrick support.zip Edited June 21, 2009 by patsystem Quote Link to comment
