Im having loads of problems scanning with services not being named properly, on Astra 28.2 for example about 40% of channels are listed as Service ###### (###### being the service id of the channel) so its gonna take forever to scan all sats and rename everything Quote Link to comment

Its driving me crazy trying to get this sorted - the main one for now is Astra 28.2e - if I scan then it finds about 1900 services (approx) but loads of them are not labelled properly - so im having to go thru and rename them one by one as I spot more missing ones. I.e I get Sky Comedy, Sky Action - but Sky Comedy HD and Sky Action HD are listed as Service 999 (where 999 is the service number) so I have to rename it. Anyone shed any light? PS. Maybe this works better for you, because it can be fine tuned in many aspects of the scanning. yeah thats what im using - chose to install the latest transedit when I was installing the latest DVBViewer version. im just trying another dvb card to see if the issue is card specific. my first scans were with floppydtv dvb-s2, now trying wintv nova s2. scan just finished - i get even less HD channels (only a few FTA) when scanning only with the wintv nova s2 card!
