UK Freeview C5 reception

For a month now I've been unable to receive any of the C5 channels on Freeview (Five, Fiver, Five US). All the other channels are okay with good reception. At best, the channel will show for a few seconds and then it's gone. I've tried rescanning but doesn't help. I use a Freecom USB stick, Windows XP sp 3 and a rooftop aerial. It's a communal aerial, but reception was great till a month ago. Anybody have any suggestions?
