inabsentia
HI, First post here, so please be gentle with me! I've had two satellite receivers linked together by scart and fed off the same lnb with a priority switch *SPS1). I was able to control which receiver was the 'master' by using the TV/SAT button. I've just installed a Skystar 2 card to replace one of these receivers, but it grabd the lnb and I can't find any way of releasing it so my main receiver can be in control..in other words, the Skystar 2 is always the master unless I power my PC off or unscrew the lnb patch lead from the priority switch. I'm wondering if there is any way I can get the Skystar 2 to release control without resorting to one or other of these options..I know I could use an A/B switch , but I'd prefer not having to spend more cash!!! Many thanks Quote Link to comment
Guest Oliver
You can try this tool: http://www.DVBViewer.com/forum/index.php?s...1921&hl=freelnb It switches the LNB off. The full version of the DVBViewer does that, too. Although some people are not so sure about this. Bye, Oliver Quote Link to comment
inabsentia
Thanks for that Oliver. Sorry if I appear 'Thick' but I notice that's an .exe file, what do I do, click on it to shut off the power? Quote Link to comment
