Right_Hoot_912
Hi, I'm using Recording service with 5 DVB-s cards .. Every thing works great . but is there a way I can watch videos while they are being recorded by the service? I can see the the videos in the recording list in DVBViewer but only after the recording ends. Link to comment

Devastation
Looks good for me. Only thing I found are maybe the Recordingfolders I had the same problem (but with a DVBV over network, not on the same PC like RecService) and the solution was Unc-Paths for the Service Recordingfolders. Please try it. Edited August 9, 2009 by Devastation Link to comment
Right_Hoot_912
I will try it now. but maybe this is the problem.. I found this on the link u gave me. Now open in DVBViewer Pro Settings --> Options the point Recorder. Here delete all recording directorys that you want to use in RecordingService. There must be minimum one recording directory for instant timers which must not be equal to one of the directory in the RecordingService. I'm using the same recording folders for the service and DVBViewer. Edited August 9, 2009 by Right_Hoot_912 Link to comment
Devastation
Have overseen this. Good correct this and test it and if it dont work then go to the unc-path step. So we can see what of both things was responsible. (if one of those) Link to comment
Right_Hoot_912
didn't work I created 3 separate folders : 1-DVBViewer 2-Service 3-Timeshift and i tried the unc-path .. and it didn't work. I found a temporary solution . I added the service recording folder to Movies virtual-path list.now i can watch the videos while they are being recorded. Link to comment
