Goersch
Hello, I have developed a Scheduler which uses the Timer function of an iMON to start the system. The advantage of using this function is, that you do not have to face with any problems caused by the suspend modes, because the system gets a fresh and clean startup. Of course, the program can also being used to startup the system without using the iMON function GMPS is a OpenSource software. It can be found here : GMPS @ SourceForge There you will also find the latest Version. DVBViewer is supported with Version 0.3.0.x, which is just available in the GMPS Forum. Die GMPS-Homepage you will find here: GMPS Homepage An English Forum can be found here: GMPS Forum (There you find the Version 0.3.0.4 which supports DVBViewer) Some Information about GMPS Features # Timer Programming of iMON VFD to start the system # RSSFeed to show action on iMON # Right now GMPS only supports programming via German RSSFeeds. If you would like to use GMPS and know about an RSS of your Country which GMPS should support: Please let me know (please use the GMPS Forum to do so) # Programming via E-Mail # flexible Script management # Scheduled Reboot Function to clean up a "Suspend Mode" System # better information on what will happen next # send E-Mail after StartUp / before ShutDown if selected # command line parameters to enable/disable the ShutDown function of GMPS (e.g. for use with remote controls) # check if schedule is OK (e.g. if just one TV Card is available and 2 are necessary) # send E-Mail if new Version available # remote control of GMPS from a second PC First Installation 1. unzip Files in a directory of your choice 2. generate a ShortCut in AutoStart 3. start GMPs and goto option/Setup * Tab "Recorder" select DVBViewer. A new tab "DVBViewer will PopUp * check the installation path an press "Check" - DVBViwer will be started if everything is OK. DVBViewer will always be started when you enter Setup * Select the ChannelGroup to use 4. After this you can set all other setups. You will find some more information in the documentation and in the screenshoots of GMPS Homepage (the documentation is not up to date - but it should help) Edited August 22, 2009 by Goersch Quote Link to comment
