DVBViewer video periodic freeze

Hi.

I have this problem DVBViewer (newest version) where the reception picture freezes slightly 1 to 2 times every 1 or 2 minutes.

I have the same problem on 2 different machines, a Quad Core with Windows 7 (Nvidia GTS250 Gfxcard) and an AMD 64 3200 (Nvidia 8800GT Gfxcard) with Windows XP.

I have tried to install PowerDVD9 to try another MPEG2 decoder codec, but it doesnt seem to remove the problem.

I dont know if this problem is caused by the software rendering codec, but is it possible to install another beside the standard (any suggenstions ?)

I do not have the problem with TerraTec's own software for the H7 - the software is slow but it doesnt freeze the tv signal.

I would be glad for some help.

Best Regards

Peter

I had a similar problem too, but someone recommended that I go to the DVBfilter settings and change Latency to 2000, and Max Queued TV/Radio to 0 and 0. Problem solved. It did impact the channel change speed a bit, thoigh, but if it works, you can try and tweak the settings to minimize the delay.
