remlap
Hi I have been getting this black line in the top of my video for awhile now, it slowly gets worst and then the video starts to shudder and shake. Is there anyway to stop this, the only way I seem to is to reboot my system. Cheers Quote Link to comment

Gioxy
I'll try, but it can be related to many (and some very strange) things... You can try to modify and see if it fix it or at least change something related: - in DVBViewer • Video Decoder • Video Renderer • Zoom settings (right click on the screen / View / Zoom) - in Windows • Win Video Card driver (and his setting, but they can be dozen...; anyhow prefer official released and stable driver) • Win screen resolution / colors / frequency (prefer 50, 75 or 100Hz) Try also with different sources (eg DVB-S, DVB-T, DVD, recorded files etc.) Ah, you can also try to monitor your PC resorces (CPU, GPU, memory and so on) to see if it is related to a stress on some of them... Good luck ad let us know! [reason for edit: hints added] Edited September 7, 2009 by Gioxy Quote Link to comment
remlap
I think its possibly due to the refresh rate of my monitor in 1440x1050 its 60hz All the widescreen resolutions use 60, and its even in recordings to, but weirdly not in 4:3 ones Cheers Edited September 8, 2009 by remlap Quote Link to comment
