Devastation
I know its a firewall problem Sure? You have deaktivated the firewall and than all is working fine? There can also the IP in the RecService be set to 127.0.0.1 here Or maybe the port is used by another prog. For the firewall: there sould somewhere be a log that will show what the firewall has blocked. There you can find out what ports you must enable. See firewall manual for details. Link to comment

kdk_warhead
Hi! I'm new to DVBViewer but it works for me to connect to "recording services webpage" from another computer. I had to open the "web/UPnP" port in the firewall on the computer with the recording service (Windows XP). Somewhat old thread but some might find it useful. Link to comment
