Mr. Man-wai Chang
Would DVBVewer Pro support old analog TV cards? Quote Link to comment
ter9999
WDM driver can't be supported neither, like the Technotrend S2300 Premium/Hauppauge Nexus-S card. DVBViewer only support cards with BDA driver. Quote Link to comment
Benarty
Examine the program name: DVB viewer. So this application will never support analog. Besides: analog times come to an end. Digital transmission need less space so digital transmission are far more interesting as bandwidth is rather expensive. Analog Terrestrial transmissions ended here and also analog cable will end rather soon then late. our cable provider is trying to get all the analog customers to switch to digital. if the group of analog viewers is small enouigh, then the provider will end analog cable tranmissions also. Conclusion: analog TV is dead soon, there are simply too much commercial benefits related to digital TV. Quote Link to comment

Gioxy
What about satellite TV? If you mean analog satellite TV, then the answer is the same as above: DVB Viewer can manage only DVB (Digital Broadcast Broadcasting) streams, and, as stated up, there's any hope it can cope with analog signal that's definitively destined to death in very few year... If you mean instead digital satellite TV, then DVBViever were build up exactly for this kind of TV... Edited October 13, 2009 by Gioxy Quote Link to comment
