ter9999
Can TransEdit blind scan satellite signals without designating symbol rate and step? Now in TransEdit, we need to enter lots of parameters for the "blind scan" combinations. Some receiver can blind scan out following TPs with just the starting freq. and ending freq., no need other parameters. I think only this can be so called "blind scan". 12140R30000,3/4 12072L14250,3/4 12085L3214,3/4 12170L11852,3/4 Quote Link to comment
Griga
There is no DVB-S card that is able to auto-detect the symbolrate (except the old Technisat SkyStar2 rev. 2.3, not available anymore). So all a software can do is to try different symbolrates until data arrives... the FEC and DVB-S2 param auto-detection capabilities are device dependent. That's why I've written in the manual This is a feature for experienced users, because it requires some knowledge about the transponder parameters and the capabilities of your DVB device. Some receiver can blind scan out following TPs with just the starting freq. and ending freq People who are waiting for a software that makes their DVB-S card work like a receiver are waiting for Godot. If you want something that works like a receiver, use a receiver Quote Link to comment
