MCE Remote

Hi all,

 

Let me first say that I have been using DVBViewer for the past 3 years and it is awesome. Lately I also tried to use Windows 7 MCE but it always hangs, does not play well DVB-S2 etc. Its funny how some programmers manager to create an MCE better than a company who employ thousands.

 

Anyway lately I had to buy anohter MCE remote because the other one broke down. Some of the button have a big delay. For example, when I am watching a movide and I try to use fast forward and rewind I can only skip +30 seconds because the command to skip goes away because of this button delay. This also happen with channel up and down.

However when I mapped the Jump++ and --- seconds to the OSD RIGHT AND LEFT this delay does not occur. In fact I am now using UP AND DOWN arrow to move channels, while the RIGHT AND LEFT are being used for jumping frames,

 

Any ideas why this delay is happening?
