DanielVexoe Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Hi everybody! I'm trying to do a Windows 7 Media Center setup with DVBLink and DVBViewer and I've gotten everything up and running, tested it in every thinkable way possible and it work as it was supposed to up until after the channel synchronization where I wanted to see the finished result, and I just got a "No signal" from Windows Media Center. I retested it and everything seems to work, just not through Windows Media Center!? Now I've gotten a quite pissed over all of this, so for the time being I've put it all on a hold, but now my DVBViewer is starting to switch channels by itself. This seems to somehow be related to having the Channel list open, but not 100 % sure, only 90 %. I'm using the following on a totally fresh installation: * Zotac IONITX-A * 2 x TerraTec Cinergy HTC USB XS HD (with driver version 5.8.630.0) * Windows 7 32-bit * DVBViewer version 4.2.1 * DVBLink for DVBViewer version 1.1.1 I really hope you guys can help me out! Best regards, Daniel... Quote
Tjod Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Please try without DVBLink. Did the DVBViewer still switch channels by itself? Quote
McenterFreak Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 I wonder how you expect an answer to this question. Its like posting a question on Porsche website, asking how to convert a 911 to a Nice looking, but American, Ford Mustang. My suggestion: Ask Microsoft, why they (the world largest SW company) decided to abandon you, and a lot of others. We, DVBViewer users, decided to go the clean way. Without majors problems Quote
ac_simps Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Hi Dan I will help you out, i have also have dvblink and can say something productive rather than wasting your time with unhelpful posts. Try switching the background epg scan off in DVBlink, this is in media centre i had the same problem until then, you don't need it as epg is still pulled down over the stream and by media centres download service, this should stop the channel switching. Make sure you set user mode to 0 in the usermode.ini and that disable AV on minimized is ticked in DVBViewer. I will say that sometimes DVBLink just doesn't install correctly, if you can restore the system before you installed it, try again following the instructions word for word. Quote
McenterFreak Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 "rather than wasting your time with unhelpful posts" Who i wasting whos time? If i wanted help with DVBLink i would use DVBLink Forum, not DVBViewer Forum Quote
