CX23882-19 Posted November 19, 2009 Share Posted November 19, 2009 Sorry, wasn't sure if this should go into the Feature Requests forum or here... Is there any chance of having a Restart PC timer? Due to certain hardware glitches I prefer to restart the system daily and currently use the Windows Task Scheduler for this at 6am, when it's unlikely that there are any recordings. It would be great if the Recording Service could have a Restart/Reboot task, and for it to only trigger if no recordings are currently taking place (or possibly make it a pending restart if they were). Moses Posted December 3, 2009 Share Posted December 3, 2009 (edited) Just add a process timer with some command like "shutdown.exe /r /f /t 0" which will force an immidiate restart of the system. Shutdown.exe should be shipping with vista/Server 2003 as system application. There are many docus about that in the internet.
