constant DVBviewer crashes

hi,

i love DVBViewer, but i am having alot of problems,

 

first, the program keeps crashing when i switch HD channels, not always, but every now and then

second, the dvbfilter keeps restarting the graph whenever there;s a freeze in video, which takes time to rebuild, so i want it to keep running until the video is back

 

 

Hardware: Skystar HD2

driver: as in device manager: 1.1.1.302

H264 codec: arcsoft

AC3: AC3 filter 1.63b

you know, i am still having this stupid problem, and i think the dvbsource filter sucks

 

whenever the video is stopped, that graph is forced to restart, and yeah, ofcourse you will miss alot while that stupid graph is being restarted

 

anyways, if it helps, dvbsource filter says "last error = pcr gap"

I had the same problems before few years , I fixed them by testing several H 264 decoders.

Most beautiful picture you get with cyberlink decoders, but you may also try with Divx H 264 decoder, I noticed it's very stable.

 

if you are using plugins such as [deleted] , in most cases, they knows to crash whole applications sometimes.

Had the same problems and unistalled codec packs.
