chano22000
Hi, I experience some tearing with the current version of DVBViewer Pro which is obvious on a large screen with quick panning scenes. My settings are the following: XPproSP3 - Microsoft DVB patch applied - VRM9 Terratec Cynergy T2 - latest BDA driver Nvidia 730i (Geforce9300): triple buffering and Vsync activated - default for other settings Purevideo (MPEG2) and Coravc (MPEG4) codecs - HW acceleration (DXVA, CUDA respectively) enabled (does change anything regarding to tearing when disabled) Processor load less that 15% - no peaks Q: 1) Do you notice similar behaviour ? 2) What else should I do to improve ? 3) Will the VRM9 custom renderer from next version (currently beta) address this issue ? (MPC-HC had the same problem now solved whith the fullscren D3D mode). Apart from this, picture quality is very good (especially in HD). I look foward anyway for next version to support my favorite shader psotprocessing (complex sharpen 2 wiith adjusted settings). Thanks a lot for your feedback. ZappoB
With XP try using the overlay renderer, for me it was the only solution. Quote Link to comment
chano22000
Thanks ZappoB As you test the beta versions, did you check the VRM9 custom renderer (on WinXP) and does it improve the situation ? Regards. Quote Link to comment
ZappoB
I'm using Vista since a few weeks, so I can say nothing about the custom renderers under XP - sorry. Quote Link to comment
