Need some support

Hey all. ok first off, im a complete newbie, i have no idea what im doing here. i recently brought a DVB-T septop box thingy for my tv, plugs in via the vga, ive got that much worked out

 

its up and running, but i cant get channel 7, 8, 9 or ten, oh im in australia btw, sydney New south wales. so im trying to figure out how to get any of these channels. and reception is extremely poor, though if i remove the DVB thing and plugin all the normal tv stuff, i get analog signals fine

 

P.S i live in the castle hill/baulkham hills area

 

any help?
