dvbrewer
Just did a scan this came up, also now when I launch DVBViewer it takes 10 seconds to open and MSMPEng.exe (MS Security Essentals/Defender) goes crazy to about 50% CPU usage- anyone else having similar problems? Lars_MQ
UniStreaming.dll Is not part of the DVBViewer. Quote Link to comment
dvbrewer
Is not part of the DVBViewer. Hmm, it is in DVBViewer>Plugins folder and turns up on a board search ? Quote Link to comment
Lars_MQ
oh, this is a really old "plugin" for the popcorn hour. just delete it. I'm absolutly sure it is in itself no virus, it has been around for several years, so you can write it off as a false positive. Quote Link to comment
xarko
Hmm, it is in DVBViewer>Plugins folder and turns up on a board search ? It's part of the "Web Interface 1.5" from the member area. For what do you still need it? Let me guess: Prevx list it as: "Medium Risk Malware"? But don't panic, it was testet before; a very small amount of virus scanners may list it just as a "suspicous" file: http://www.virustotal.com/de/analisis/89a1...4769-1242894465 http://www.virustotal.com/de/analisis/89a1...4769-1264634599 Quote Link to comment

dvbrewer
Just to update, this was a problem with MS Security Essentials, I swapped it for Kaspersky and the problem has gone . Quote Link to comment
