the default username cannot be changed

I have just noticed that whatever I do, I cannot change the default admin username neither via configuration through the tray nor using the web interface. I can save once, however, next time when I expect to log in, I see the default user settings admin and guest. This has happened probably after version .85. Does any body else have the same problem?
