DVBViewer crashes in less than 1 minute from startup

Hi

 

I don't know if this belongs in Bugs or Newbies, but here goes....

 

My capture card is a Hauppage WinTV NOVA-S2 HD. I can use Hauppage's limited WinTV7 software without any problems, but DVBViewer always crashes within 30 seconds to 1 minute from startup. This is in Windows 7. I can use the software without any issues in Windows XP, and I understand that DVBViewer is Windows7 compatable.

 

The error message is:

 

Error in Userdata!

 

Please install the DVBViewer with the correct data!

 

 

In addition to the attached zip file I should also give the following info:

 

Hauppage WinTV NOVA-S2 HD DVB-S2 PCIE card, driver 2.124.27191.1

Gigabyte P35-DS3P motherboard, Intel P35 socket 775

ATI Radeon 3850 graphic card with ATI Catalyst 10.2 Suite for Windows 7 (64 bit)

 

The program was installed and run as an Administrator.

 

I have read one or two other threads with people having similar problems with DVBViewer crashing, but from what I can see, the crashes are system specific and there is no cure-all, so perhaps from the attached data someone can point me in the right direction.
