video splitting after 45 min

hi

on a normal SVCD we can burn ca. 45min For this we must convert the recordet file. if i splitt the recordet file to 650MB the file mostly is smaller than 45 min and i need more CDs. (or i must record a complete file and splitting after converting) The only constant on all formats is the time.

If i could splitt the video in DVBViewer after 45 min i know, i can burn it on an SVCD with optimal largeness. The largeness of the with DVBViewer recordet file is not realy important.

nice Idea,but a video without a lot of action i can burn 60min to one SVCD-CD. Hardaction only 40Min and between them.

 

Creating SVCD ,some tools split the mpg by themself at conversion.

 

If you mean only the recorded mpg Stream,i don`t like the commercial.You know the time of them always?

 

I`m not sure for your Intension.If i understand wrong,sorry.

This circumstance i was not consider.

I think my idea was not consider extensively. This is a big point for you!
