SoftwareFailure Posted March 27, 2010 Share Posted March 27, 2010 Hello, I'm using the recording service to stream iptv to my ps3 using upnp, everything is working fine, thanks for that Now I'm trying to do the same on my sony bravia tv (kdl-32v5500). Streaming recordings is ok (as writen in the changelog of 1.5.0.60) but liveTV does not work Is there any chance to get it work ? Link to comment
Lars_MQ Posted March 27, 2010 Share Posted March 27, 2010 A User and I tried for several weeks to get it to work but it simply won't do it. I have no clue where the problem lies. Link to comment
SoftwareFailure Posted March 27, 2010 Author Share Posted March 27, 2010 Thank you for your quick answer. How are handled the channels using upnp, are they considered as files ? In that case have you ever tried to change file extension from .ts to .m2t ? The reason I ask you that is because when I put a recorded file (from IPTV channel) on a usb stick and play it on the tv I have to change extension from .ts to .m2t in order to see it on the tv (in the files list). I've heard somewhere that bravia tvs can only playback h.264 if they have a .m2t extension (like HDV). So I was surprised that it is possible to playbackfiles from h.264 recorded channels with .ts extension. Link to comment
Lars_MQ Posted March 27, 2010 Share Posted March 27, 2010 The recordings are TS files. So no problem there, channels are handled in a similar way. Believe me we did try everything possible (including serveral wireshark logs) and even some things impossible. Link to comment
SoftwareFailure Posted April 1, 2010 Author Share Posted April 1, 2010 OK, finally I found a solution. First I start the recording service, then another upnp server -> Wild media server. In wms I create a new internet tv link, put "http://192.168.1.7:7522/upnp/channelstream/00084.ts" as the path of this link (so link to a recording service channel stream) and tell wms to not transcode the stream. Last in wms, I set the MIME-type and DLNA parameter to ts and MPEG_TS_SD_EU_ISO and start the server. My iptv provider is streaming h264(sd&hd) content inside ts over udp. Here is the upnp presentation : POST /UPnPServices/ContentDirectory/control HTTP/1.1 X-AV-Physical-Unit-Info: pa="BRAVIA KDL-32V5500 "; X-AV-Client-Info: av=5.0; cn="Sony Corporation"; mn="BRAVIA KDL-32V5500 "; mv="1.7"; Host: 192.168.1.7:3406 User-Agent: UPnP/1.0 DLNADOC/1.50 Content-Length: 674 Content-Type: text/xml; charset="utf-8" SOAPACTION: "urn:schemas-upnp-org:service:ContentDirectory:1#Browse" <?xml version="1.0"?><s:Envelope xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" s:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"><s:Body><u:Browse xmlns:u="urn:schemas-upnp-org:service:ContentDirectory:1"><ObjectID>085C4743-A4DC-43B3-AB29-957BB759C6DF</ObjectID><BrowseFlag>BrowseDirectChildren</BrowseFlag><Filter>dc:title,av:mediaClass,dc:date,@childCount,res,upnp:class,res@resolution,upnp :album,upnp:genre,upnp:albumArtURI,upnp:albumArtURI@dlna:profileID,dc:creator,res @size,res@duration,res@bitrate,res@protocolInfo</Filter><StartingIndex>0</StartingIndex><RequestedCount>10</RequestedCount><SortCriteria></SortCriteria></u:Browse></s:Body></s:Envelope>HTTP/1.1 200 OK Content-Type: text/xml; charset="utf-8" Content-Length: 3140 Transfer-Encoding: chunked transferMode.dlna.org: Streaming Accept-Ranges: bytes Date: Thu, 1 Apr 2010 20:53:31 +0200 Cache-Control: no-cache Expires: 0 LAST-MODIFIED: Thu, 1 Apr 2010 20:53:31 +0200 EXT: Server: Windows/5.12600 UPnP/1.0 DLNADOC/1.50 Wild Media Server (UPnP, DLNA, HTTP)/0.73 00000C44 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <s:Envelope xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" s:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"> <s:Body> <u:BrowseResponse xmlns:u="urn:schemas-upnp-org:service:ContentDirectory:1"> <Result><DIDL-Lite xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:upnp="urn:schemas-upnp-org:metadata-1-0/upnp/" xmlns="urn:schemas-upnp-org:metadata-1-0/DIDL-Lite/" xmlns:av="urn:schemas-sony-com:av" xmlns:dlna="urn:schemas-dlna-org:metadata-1-0/"> <item id="207ddbaf-cb08-4fda-a2f5-a830f9bd4831" parentID="085C4743-A4DC-43B3-AB29-957BB759C6DF" restricted="1"> <dc:title>(?)
