Lars_brohne Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Hi, I wonder if HAUPPAUGE WINTV HVR-930C is supported by DVBViewer? It is not in the list of supported DVB Devices (http://www.DVBViewer.com/en/index.php?page=features). Tx Lars Quote
desweil Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 you can test the support with the free tool transedit http://www.DVBViewer.com/download/Transedit_MMC_Demo.zip . If you can scan the channels there, then it will work in DVBViewer. Quote
Lars_brohne Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 Tx, now installed (on win 7) and seems to work fine but cannot find my Swedish (cable) channels, DVB-T or C. Does anyone have a transponder file for Sweden (Canal Digital, Göteborg)? Tx Lars Quote
JMe Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Afraid I'm a bit late, but hopefully it might help someone. I don't why you can't find any T channels, but I might have an explanation for the C channels not working. You see, I had this problem: http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/35042-hauppauge-930c-usb-tuner/ So basically the 930C doesn't work with QAM128 muxes unless you use the Terratec driver. As an update for the earlier post, I noticed that Hauppauge had updated the drivers for 930C to version 5.10.0330.28089 . I installed these and tried to scan the channels, but no luck. The QAM256 channels are found, but not the QAM128 ones. However, with this new Hauppauge driver, the tuner does tune to previously scanned QAM128 channels, So I guess it's an improvement. Quote
