uglyned
Sometimes, after a programme has been added to the timer list, the channel will change its plans and the programme start time will change. Is it possible for DVBViewer recording service to do some task which goes through the timer list and checks for updates? Something like that already happens indirectly with the EPG search in that if a timer event has been added already through the EPG search and that programme has a schedule change, then the EPG search will add the programme into the timer list again as an additional event, as the properties of the new rescheduled programme no longer match the existing, older event. I then have to disable or delete the old, out of date, timer event But it would be nice if this was handled automatically. Also, would it be possible to use the 'now and next' schedule information to handle schedule over runs? Additionally to the 7-day EPG, the channels also broadcast information about the programme on now and the next one. DVBViewer picks this up and displays it. Channels like BBC1 use this now and next data to inform of overruns - like football matches going into extra time and subsequent programmes running late. Could DVBViewer do checks at the start of the recording against this data to ensure that the scheduled programme is starting when it should, and checks at the end to make sure the programme has finished and that it's safe to stop recording?
