csloth
Hi When I schedule a recording for one specific channel, DVBViewer starts as scheduled, and it seems to begin recording as well. But when the recording is supposed to be finished, the .ts file is only approx 85mb, theres no picture or sound and playback stops after one second. All other channels work fine (at least I haven't had this problem with any other channel). The channel is encrypted and I suspect that could be the issue. But then theres no problems on the other encrypted channels. Any suggestions? I'm using DVBViewer 4.2.1 and Technisat Cablestar combo hd ci Thanks. majstang
Try the StreamPatcher plugin in download section for the channel with the issue. You may suffer from the "lazy CAM" issue. Information about the plugin here http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/34363-way-to-fix-channels-with-wrong-aspect-ratio/page__st__15__p__249793#entry249793 In creating patch files manual point 2...instead of PatchType=16:9 it should be PatchType=ScrambledFlag Edited June 19, 2010 by majstang Quote Link to comment
csloth
Thanks, but still no luck. I've noticed that if I do the following when the channel is tuned and displayed correctly: 1. shutdown DVBViewer 2. remove the tuner and plug it in again 3. restart DVBViewer Then, the channel will often tune with no picture as well, but there's sound. And if I rebuild graph the picture will show. I guess the same thing happens when I try to record. There doesn't seem to be a problem if the channel wasn't "in tune" when DVBViewer was shut down. Is there a way to make DVBViewer rebuild graph / retune the channel automatically eg 30. seconds before a scheduled recording starts. Because it's as if it needs to tries before it works? Other suggestions are also welcome. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
