After dvb viewer crash I have to reboot

Hey, In the event of DVBViewer crashing which usually happens when i tune into some strange channels that are called something like service 5943, I have to reboot as when i reopen DVBViewer i cant get onto any channels I think this is due to the tv card not being closed properly or something. My question is how can i restart DVBViewer to watch channels after a crash without having to reboot?
