When Transedit is scanning, it sometimes makes a 'ding' noise. Is this some kind of Windows error or does the 'ding' mean something? I use Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. If not an error, I assume its intention might be to alert that some channels have been found on a transponder, or maybe no channels have been found. Or, is there a known need in Vista to run Transedit or DVBViewer 'as administrator'? I'm not at the moment, but maybe the ding is due to a permissions issue? I've made a screen + audio recording for about a minute showing a Transedit scan and the 'ding' noise. Maybe one of you can notice a reason why it happens when it does? Or maybe it is just random? The huge clock on the recording is so I could verify the audio sync matches what I manually noted when making the recording. Hello Griga, Did you have a look / listen to my Youtube clip? Can you understand why all those 'dings' are happening? Will be removed in the next TransEdit release. ok, thanks Griga. Did you dare to install Flash and hear the beeps / 'dings' on my clip, or did you work it out some other way?
