tablaman Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 (edited) i'm totalling new to DVBViewer i downloaded only the main package and installed with basic things scanning seemed to go well - found th channels available but video and audio were stuttering tried different codecs to no effect. when i returned to try Windows Media Centre which played well before it reports that the tuner cannot find channels curses ... i was hoping to replace Windows Media Centre well - i guess i've done that ... i'm using Windows 7 and a Pinnacle DVB-T stick (72e) what can i do to get things to work? thanks colin Edited September 8, 2010 by tablaman Quote
tablaman Posted September 8, 2010 Author Posted September 8, 2010 aaaaaahhhh ..... [pounds head on new computer] -) technical stuff! Windows Media Centre reported 'weak signal' why this shoould be the case i ahve no idea things were working fine before and i mean i haven't changed anything but okay - i will redo the aerial connect and like magic - WMC came to life! and then - best of all - DVBViewer jump out at me in all it's glory! technical stuff! some times we can so fixed on the techie answer that the basic thing escapes us. i'm looking forward to learning how to use DVBViewer. thanks for listening. regards colin Quote
McenterFreak Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Just for your information, you dont need to install any codecs. Win 7 have them build in Quote

subvertbeats Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Just for your information, you dont need to install any codecs. Win 7 have them build in True, though some (myself included) have slightly better results with other codecs. Quote
