tablaman
aaaaaahhhh ..... [pounds head on new computer] -) technical stuff! Windows Media Centre reported 'weak signal' why this shoould be the case i ahve no idea things were working fine before and i mean i haven't changed anything but okay - i will redo the aerial connect and like magic - WMC came to life! and then - best of all - DVBViewer jump out at me in all it's glory! technical stuff! some times we can so fixed on the techie answer that the basic thing escapes us. i'm looking forward to learning how to use DVBViewer. thanks for listening. regards colin Quote Link to comment
McenterFreak
Just for your information, you dont need to install any codecs. Win 7 have them build in Quote Link to comment
tablaman
yeah ... thanks ... as i tried to explain - looking for the 'technical' answer rather than a simple answer can get one in a real tight corner DVBViewer is working great now and it IS what i was looking for thanks for your reply regards colin Quote Link to comment
subvertbeats
Just for your information, you dont need to install any codecs. Win 7 have them build in True, though some (myself included) have slightly better results with other codecs. Quote Link to comment
