csloth Posted September 22, 2010 Share Posted September 22, 2010 Hi I can transcode and stream SD channels just fine using the web-interface (mpeg2/mp2 codec), and most HD channels work almost ok as well. But some don't. I'm not sure, but it seems that I get serious problems when the audio-track is AC3. What happens is that the stream plays fine for a couple of seconds, then it stops(I think the recording service crashes because the tray-icon turns grey for a moment until the service has restarted). I've tried lots of codec combinations and used very low bitrate - but it happens anyway. Any tips of what's the best way to transcode/stream hd channels? Is it even possible for a computer to transcode HD on the fly? Thanks Link to comment
