dandan
Hi, I'm trying to setup a multicast streaming server. Clients will be VLC players. Tried the recording service - no luck. I can use DVBViewer player, but nothing more. Tried the Netstream plugin - again - no luck. The requirements as follows: Server has TT3200 card with CI module. The CAM can open only 2 SIDs in parallel out of few available (each SID has ~4 PIDs). How do I setup the multicast (IP for each PID)? How do I select the SIDs? Can I use more than 1 DVB card (with it's own CAM)? Many thanks!! Dan Quote Link to comment
dandan
Does anyone use DVBViewr for streaming? Can anyone play the stream with VLC? Any hint will be appreciated. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Tjod
The DVB Server is only for DVBViewer Clients. With the Netstream Plugin it should be possible to stream the current watched channel in DVBViewer to other Clients. But you should start with unicast an get this working. Multicast will not work with all network hardware. Quote Link to comment
