rapper
Hi My prob is a general one. When I switch to a channel on my analog tv, for example RAI 1, and then I switch to the same channel on DVBViewer, the video on my PC is somehow LATE (about 3 sec.). So there is a differnce in time. I even tried REAL TIME priority, but this doesn't solve the problem. On a real SAT Reciever the difference is about 1 sec.!! Why the SS2 is slow Thanks for answer Quote Link to comment
Klausing
The driver latching some data before you see it. Thats the reason. Its normal. Quote Link to comment
Griga
I even tried REAL TIME priority Don't - it may cause errors while recording. This setting will be removed in the next DVBViewer release. Quote Link to comment

Derrick
With standard settings the card and the softdecoder is not much slower than a standalone receiver with hardware decoder. But if you compare it with analog transmission, there's always a time delay for mpeg encoding/decoding and in case of satellite transmission vs. terrestrical transmission a round trip delay for the signal, which must go up and down. That can add up to a couple of seconds. Quote Link to comment
