Steve-Austin
Hello, I have 3 CI Mediaguard with old firmware and the update stream by sat is offline since a long time. I found a solution but I need a Topfield PVR to do this. In fact, we upload the .rec file in the Topfield in the PVR directory and after we start it and the update will be done. Is it possible to launch .rec file in DVBViewer to update my CI a day? The procedure: http://ftpaston.free.fr/download_module_for_topfield/update_module_with_topfield.doc The file: http://ftpaston.free.fr/download_module_for_topfield/flux_223.zip THX for your answers. Derrick
no, not possible. You can't inject a recorded file upstream of the CI. It depends on the hardware architecture and not on the application. Apparently topfield has a more flexible architecture. Quote Link to comment
