It would be truly awesome to have a pre recording task accompany the recording timers in RS (like it is possible with the after recording task today). This would give an opportunity to launch scripts and even applications with or without userinterface before recordings begin. Today there is an absolute nightmare to accomplish a similar thing by using the DVBViewer COM and RS WEB API. Hopefully such a pre recording task would not interfer with the timings (synchronizations) of the wake-up and other commands RS executes just before initiating the recording?!
