Standyby/Ruhezustand während Aufnahmen-Wiedergabe über UPNP

Hallo allesamt,

 

ich nutze derzeit die PS3 als Streaming-Client über UPNP und bin damit ziemlich zufrieden.

Kürzlich habe ich allerdings eine Aufnahme abgespielt, währenddessen lief eine andere Aufnahme. Als letztere fertig war, hat sich der PC wie in der Aufnahme konfiguriert Schlafen geschickt - die laufende Wiedergabe hat dies nicht verhindert. Ich hatte in den Recordingservice-Optionen gesetzt, dass aktive Clients den Standby verhindern sollen. Jedoch ist mir nun aufgefallen, dass im Recordingservice-Status der Stream einer Aufnahme nicht als Client auftaucht - Das LiveTV-Streaming allerdings sehr wohl. Daher meine Frage: Ist das eine PS3-Spezialität oder was muss ich sonst noch einstellen?

Google translator could sometimes make it very confusing when it tranlates other languages. I hope i didnt get things wrong. It will be easier for me to take this in english. There is a difference to get active clients to prevent the standby setting in RS to work. You see it uses the value of the clientcount variable in RS WEB API. Simply put:

- Only Live-TV effects the clientcount value , meaning when you are streaming Live-TV the clientcount changes to value 1 and the prevent standby setting in RS does its job alright on WinXP systems.

- Streaming a recording does not change the clientcount value, so the prevent standby setting in RS does not work at all under those circumstances.

Sorry, majastang for not writing in English.

Since DVBViewer is "made in Germany", I tend to post in German which is some kind of ugly in our americanized world

What you answered is exactly what I was wondering about: LiveTV increases the client-count while streaming a recordings does not have this effect.

This is kind of ugly when your server shuts down while watching a recording and you cannot do anything about it.

So would this be a development request? Do you know how to address it?

I agree totally! Yes, this needs a development request in the Suggestion & Ideas topic, or the German equivalent of cuz.

Majastang already replied, that this was development request. I consider this more a bug. Could one of the moderators give a short statement about how to handle it?
