daveyboyc Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 Hi, Im having a problem with RS. It keeps crashing! I am using 10 tuners and the maximum of 32 plugins. If i use 32 the system always becomes unresponsive and only a system reboot can cure it. I've tried diasbling vthumbs.exe - so this doesnt seem to be the issure. Does anyonw know a possible fix? a setting/a max number of plugins/channles u can record before u get problems? Thanks. support.zip Quote Link to comment
majstang Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 Man, you are asking for trouble! 10 tuners Well, apart from you breaking the forum rules discussing plugins you could always install the latest RS, cuz your current version had problems with hardware detection which might be the cause for your issue. Otherwise do you get any BSODs? When does RS crash...inside a recordingcycle (and if so when) or when streaming Live-TV. It helps if one could have exact time when the latest crash occured, then it is easier to study what happened in the debuglog that exact time. Quote Link to comment
